Abstract:
To provide: an illuminated switch capable of highly accurately laser welding a cover sheet to a frame even if the inner surface of the frame included in a case is white, when the cover sheet is laser welded to the top surface of the frame provided to a peripheral portion of the case, the cover sheet covering a movable contact and an LED arranged in the vicinity of the movable contact; and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A frame 11 includes a white portion 12 having a recess on the top surface thereof, and an absorption portion 13 filling the recess. The frame 11 is manufactured by a two-color molding process in which the white portion 12 is molded in primary molding and the absorption portion 13 is molded in secondary molding. An end portion of a cover sheet 14 and the absorption portion 13 exposed from the top surface of the frame 11 are laser welded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
