To provide an illuminating device which can be made thin and compact.
The illuminating device 10 includes a substrate 1, a first illuminating portion 2 emitting first illuminating light, and a second illuminating portion 3 emitting second illuminating light to a range narrower than a range to which the first illuminating portion 2 emits the light. The first illuminating portion 2 is provided with a sheet-like light guide 12 disposed along one surface 1a of the substrate 1, and a first light source guiding the light to the light guide 12 and propagating the light in a planar direction to have the first illuminating light. The second illuminating portion 3 is provided with a second light source 13 mounted on the one surface 1a of the substrate 1, and a light path changing portion 14 directing the light from the second light source 13 toward an inclination direction to have the second illuminating light. The light path changing portion 14 is provided with a light concentration element 21 narrowing an outgoing range of the light. The light concentration element 21 is arranged with a light axis AX1 positionally displaced in a direction corresponding to the inclination direction in relation to a light axis AX2 of the second light source 13 and is arranged to have a posture along the substrate 1.
