To provide an illumination apparatus which uses fluorescent lamps and LEDs instead of incandescent lamps easy to generate heat energy and is made mountable on a box type panel, preventing ultraviolet rays from being emitted outside the apparatus to eradicate insecure feeling to ultraviolet troubles.

The illumination apparatus mounted with a replaceable image film in front of a box type main body including a light source for illumination is being provided with: a light source A such as white fluorescent tubes; a light source B emitting ultraviolet rays; and a control means for controlling the light source A and the light source B, and is characterized by lapping an opalescent image film provided with a pattern on an opalescent film in a special ink emitting light with the ultraviolet rays onto a transparent image film provided with a pattern on a transparent film in a coloring ink, and facing the opalescent image film surface to the light sources.
