Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable achievement of at least one of a reduction in electric power introduced for illumination and a driver's feeling that the brighter illumination is given, in a lighting device for scanning an illumination area.SOLUTION: When one area is illuminated with a first amount I1 of light so that predetermined illuminance can be obtained, the area is illuminated with a second amount I2 of light, which is larger than the first amount I1 of light, in a period T1. In periods T2 and T3 following the period T1, the area is illuminated with a third amount I3 of light, which is smaller than the first amount I1 of light.
