To provide an illumination device for a cabin which is mounted in a pocket formed in a door trim, functions as an indirect illumination of the door trim when the pocket is in a closed state and functions as a lamp for irradiation inside the pocket when the pocket is in an open state.
A front face of a recessed part 2 for a pocket formed in a door trim 1 is covered by a pocket front plate 3 which is pivotally attached by the door trim 1 and openable/closable. An upper opening part of the recessed part 2 for the pocket is covered by a pocket lid 4 which is freely flipped up while a base part thereof is pivotally attached via a small space S from the door trim 1. An illumination member 5 which is irradiated toward the door trim 1 side in a closed state of the pocket and toward the inside of the recessed part 2 for the pocket in an opened state of the pocket is provided on the base part of the pocket lid 4.
