Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent generation of glaring and illuminate ceiling light.
CONSTITUTION: A light source 3 is installed as protruding downward from an opening 2 in a ceiling 1. At the under-surface of the ceiling 1 a transparent frame 4 is installed in such a way as surrounding the light source 3. This transparent frame 4 is made in such a prism form as refracting the light advancing path from the light source 3 is turned approx. in parallel with the under-surface of the ceiling 1. Provision of the transparent frame 4 surrounding the light source 3 can enlarge the light blocking angle. The ceiling can be illuminated with the light from the light source 3 owing to refraction by the transparent frame 4.
