Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device capable of allowing a light source to sufficiently radiate heat even when a lamp is miniaturized.SOLUTION: An illumination device 1 includes: a lamp 6; a lamp support part 7 for supporting the lamp 6; a light source 2 mounted on a substrate 10 and provided inside the lamp 6; a heat sink 11 as a heat radiating body thermally coupled with the substrate 10; and a shaft member 55 as a connection part which connects the lamp 6 and the lamp support part 7. A first bent part 48 as a lamp side fitting part is provided integrally with the heat sink 11 at the lamp 6, a fitting member 52 as a support means side fitting part is provided at the lamp support part 7, and the first bent part 48, the shaft member 55 and the fitting member 52 are formed by a thermal conductor. Also, the first bent part 48 and the fitting member 52 are thermally coupled by the shaft member 55, the heat of the light source 2 is conducted to the fitting member 52 from the substrate 10 via the heat sink 11 and the shaft member 55. As heat radiation can be performed by the fitting member 52 as well, the light source 2 can sufficiently radiate heat.
