Abstract:
To provide an illumination device capable of reducing luminance unevenness.SOLUTION: An illumination device 1 is composed mostly of a panel 2 that has an illumination area 23 illuminated by illumination light 31, a light source 3 that outputs the illumination light 31, and a light guide 5 that is disposed so as to intersect an optical axis 30 of the light source 3 between the panel 2 and the light source 3, has a center part 53 having a shape scattering the illumination light 31 to lower the brightness of a center area 23a of the illumination area 23 on at least one of an upper surface 50 and a lower surface 51, and a peripheral part 54 having a shape reflecting the illumination light 31 toward a peripheral area 23b surrounding the center area 23a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
