To provide an illumination type key pad which is equipped with an illuminated key top and a non-illuminated key top, and capable of restraining light leakage form a runner cut part in the non-illuminated key top at a high level and inexpensively in a simple process without reducing adhesiveness between the non-illuminated key top and a base film.
An illumination type key pad includes: an illuminated key top having a light transmission part to transmit light from an illumination source therethrough on the top surface which is the surface of the visible side; a non-illuminated key top 13 not having the light transmission part on the top surface; and a base film 11 to which the illuminated key top and the non-illuminated key top 13 are tightly fixed. The bottom surface which is the surface on the illumination source side of the illuminated key top and the base film are tightly fixed to each other via a translucent adhesive layer, and the bottom surface 13c of the non-illuminated key top 13 and the base film 11 are tightly fixed to each other via the translucent adhesive layer 15.
