Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminator for a display shelf simply mountable on the front edge part of an existing shelf board, and excellent in eye-catching property.SOLUTION: An illuminator for a display shelf includes: a stopper-cum-illumination cover 2 constituted by bending a translucent plastic plate, having a cover part 4 for covering the front edge part 31 of a shelf board 30 and a stopper part 5 for stopping a commodity on the shelf board, and mounted on the front edge part 31 of the shelf board 30 as a front stopper; and an illuminator 3 for illuminating by emitting light from a plurality of LEDs mounted on a board in a band plate-shaped thin case. A card holder part 6 is provided on the front surface of the stopper-cum-illumination cover 2, and the illuminator 3 performs back-light illumination from the rear of a card inserted into the card holder part 6.
