Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a document image of one user from being stolen by the other user even if the other user operates an image acquisition device through an operation from an operation terminal while the one user is directly operating the image acquisition device through a manual operation.SOLUTION: Setting data received from an operation terminal and representing a read condition relating to an engine 38 are recorded, and the recorded setting data are set to a lock state just for a predetermined period. If an approach of an object is detected while the setting data are set to the lock state, in accordance with a document read execution instruction representing acceptance of a manual operation of a user, an image is read by the engine 38 and an operation instruction can be rejected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
