Title:
IMAGE APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003204476
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable exposure control to be quickly and correctly carried out corresponding to the operation of a shutter.

In an imaging apparatus, a first photometric operation is carried out as a stop disposed in the optical path of imaging lenses (111) and (112) is kept open, a stop condition and a shutter speed in image operation are temporarily set for an imaging apparatus on the basis of the result of the first photometric operation, then a second photometric operation is carried out as stopped down, the shutter speed is corrected while the stop condition is kept as it is on the basis of the result of the second photometric operation, and the stop condition and the shutter speed in imaging operation are finally determined. The imaging apparatus is equipped with an imaging device (16) disposed on the image forming plane of the imaging lenses (111) and (112), a stop control means (103) which controls the stop (113), and a shutter speed control means (1) which controls the shutter speed of the imaging device (16), and the shutter speed temporarily determined on the basis of the result of the first photometric operation is slower than a maximum shutter speed.
