To create folders by patients in a removable memory of imaging equipment, more specifically, imaging equipment for photographing inner parts in the mouth and to save image data obtained by imaging in the folders.

An imaging means picks up images of inner parts in the mouth. An image processing means 2 variously processes the picked-up image data and saves them in the memory. The memory 3 stores the picked-up image data. A folder creating means 4 creates a folder in the memory 3 according to an instruction from an unillustrated folder creation indicating means (folder creation button) (with the folder creation button pressed). The picked-up image data are stored in the folder thereafter until a folder is newly created.
