Abstract:

To allow a composite image that meets a user's needs to be created easily.

A digital image obtained by an image inputting part 200 is analyzed by a recognition processing part 201. A state of a subject image in the digital image is recognized, and based on the result of the recognition, a category of the image is determined. A part 202 for determination processing of an image for composition determines the image for composition to be used for image composition out of a plurality of images for composition 107a based on the determined category of the image. An image composition processing part 203 composites the image for composition determined by the part 202 for determination processing of an image for composition in the obtained digital image.
