The image conversion device converting an item to be displayed on a screen (a square screen S) of a predetermined size into the item for a screen (a wide screen W) different in a screen size on the basis of a reference coordinate and a predetermined parameter comprises: reference coordinate conversion means that converts the reference coordinate according to the same conversion procedure in accordance with a difference in a screen size for all of a plurality of items different in a kind; and parameter conversion means that converts the parameter in accordance with the difference in the screen for each kind of the plurality of items different in the kind.
