To provide a camera and an imaging method which provide a set of proposals associated with image contents after a stored image is photographed by the camera and operate based on the selected proposal.
A scene is photographed as an original electronic image, which is stored in a memory of a camera as a stored image. A plurality of parameters of the scene are evaluated. In order to specify a proposal set, the parameter is checked with one or more of a plurality of editing proposals. One or more editing proposal images are produced. Each editing proposal image is a duplicate image of the original electronic image corrected in accordance with the corresponding one editing proposal. The editing proposal image is displayed. A user input for designating one of the editing proposal images is accepted as a user selection. The user input is recorded for using later when preparing a final image, or the housed stored image is edited in accordance with the selected proposal.
