Abstract:
To provide an image data provision device capable of inexpensively performing monitoring in an arbitrary direction from an arbitrary position on a road.SOLUTION: An image data provision device includes: a communication section for performing communication with vehicles; an image data acquisition section for acquiring image data to be obtained by photographing the peripheries of the vehicles with the use of cameras mounted on the vehicles and attached data indicating photographing positions and photographing directions of the cameras from the plurality of vehicles via the communication section; a storage section for storing the acquired image data and attached data; an instruction data acquisition section for acquiring instruction data to instruct a position and direction from a terminal device; and an image data provision section for identifying the attached data indicating the photographing position and photographing direction of the camera corresponding to the position and direction indicated by the instruction data, and providing the image data corresponding to the identified attached data to the terminal device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
