To allow an image receiver to freely cope with a prescribed image processing by transmitting transfer data without a storage area for the prescribed image processing to the image receiver without making the image receiver worry about handling of idle storage areas nor having a possibility of executing improper image processing caused by a noise intruded to the idle storage area.
In the case of transferring transfer data from an image processing unit, the transfer data are not provided with a C storage area (a storage area for processing image processing) but provided with an A storage area 21 to store a parameter A for A image processing and with a B storage area 22 to store a parameter B for B image processing. The parameter A is stored in the A storage area 21, the parameter B is stored in the B storage area 22 and they are transferred together with image data stored in an image data storage area 20 as the transfer data.
