Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an image density detecting device excellent in productivity, having low production cost and capable of detecting accurate image density.
CONSTITUTION: This image density detecting device is provided with a light emitting diode LED1 being a light emitting element, a phototransistor PT1 being a light receiving element, and diffusing members at the part of the light emitting window LW of the light emitting diode LED1 and the part of the light receiving window PW of the phototransistor PT1. Then, a sheet-like diffusing film DF is used as the diffusing member and a sticky layer is formed on the sheet-like diffusing film DF.
