In this image display body wherein a light-transmitting hologram or an OVD image such as a diffraction grating, is provided, a light-reflecting type OVD transfer foil 20a having a light-reflecting type OVD layer 232/adhesive layer 24 on a base material, and a light-transmitting type OVD transfer foil 20b having a light-transmitting type OVD layer 233/adhesive layer 24 on the base material, are used, and after an image is drawn by a thermal head on either one of the OVD transfer foils, the light-reflecting type OVD transfer foil and the light-transmitting type OVD transfer foil are transferred onto the image display body 40.
