The image display device 1 has a display panel where a plurality of light emitting pixels are arranged like a matrix. A light emitting pixel 11P which is abnormally operated when a drive circuit is formed and a light emitting pixel 11Q which is adjacent to the light emitting pixel 11P or has the same color as that of the light emitting pixel 11P, which is normally operated when the drive circuit is formed have a drive circuit layer 11A having a drive transistor 22 performing conversion into a current between a source and a drain corresponding to a signal voltage supplied from a signal line 12 arranged in each pixel row by applying the signal voltage to a gate and a light emitting layer 11B emitting light by making the current flow between the source and the drain. The display panel has a jumper line 16 directly connecting the gate terminal of the drive transistor 22 that the light emitting pixel 11P has and the gate terminal of the drive transistor 22 that the light emitting element 11Q has.
