To provide an image display device that reduces the power consumed.
An image display device is provided with several transistor elements arranged on a substrate, an electroluminescence element installed in each transistor element, a first signal line installed in the first direction, a display element provided with a first substrate having a second signal line installed in the second direction that intersects with each first direction, a first driving means for providing driving pressure to each first signal line, and a second driving means for providing driving pressure to each second signal line. The control electrode for each transistor element is connected electrically with one of several first signal lines, the first electrode of each transistor element is electrically connected with one of several second signal lines, the second electrode of each transistor element is electrically connected with the first electrode of each electroluminescence element installed in each transistor element, and the second driving means has a fixed current circuit providing a fixed current to each second signal line.
