Abstract:
To provide an image display device capable of improving image quality.
In an image display device including a transparent resin substrate on a light-emission surface of an image display panel, at least the transparent resin substrate located on a side most separated from the light-emission surface is arranged so that an extension direction of thickness unevenness due to stretching coincides with a horizontal direction of the image display panel; and at least the transparent resin substrate located on the side most separated from the light-emission surface is arranged so that an advanced phase axis that is an axis having the smallest in-plane refractive index coincides with a vertical direction of the image display panel.
