Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device with which it is possible to prevent the reflected light of external light that is reflected by an optical element present between a projection mirror and a projection plane from proceeding to an image display area on the projection plane.SOLUTION: A head-up display device 101 comprises a laser light source LD, an image generation unit 11 for generating an image with the light from the laser light source LD, a concave mirror 22 for projecting the image generated by the image generation unit 11 onto a windshield WS, and an optical filter F5 arranged on an optical path between the concave mirror 22 and the windshield WS. The optical filter F5 is constituted to be capable of changing its posture so that external light incident on a reflection surface from a discretionary direction on the windshield WS side is reflected toward other than an image display area R1 of the windshield WS.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
