Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image without deterioration in the image and to prevent the circuit scale from being increased by reading a standard television signal synchronously with a stable oscillation output in the case of reading the standard television signal from a storage section in an N-multiple means so as to conduct double speed conversion and correcting a time base of the signal.
SOLUTION: A received standard television signal is written in storage sections 105a, 105b used for double speed conversion in an N multiple means 105 synchronously with an oscillation output from a 2nd oscillation means 107 in common for the double speed conversion. The standard television signal of N multiple speed whose time base fluctuation having been in existence at the reception is outputted by reading the written standard television signal from the storage sections 105a, 105b synchronously with the oscillation output from the 1st oscillation means 124. The standard television signal of N multiple speed is given to a display device 126 synchronously with a horizontal drive pulse from a horizontal drive pulse generating means 109 and displayed thereat.
