Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the area for providing each circuit element driving pixel and to efficiently form the circuit element by providing the same kind of each circuit element in respective adjacent pixels in a specified position.
CONSTITUTION: For displaying an image by a scan signal and a data signal, many pixels 1 of a cell shape are arranged on a substrate in a two-dimensional matrix, that is, in a grid pattern. Then, each transistors 5, 6, a CMOS circuit 7 and capacitors 10, 11 are arranged so that an adjacent set of each drive circuits 4 becomes to be in axial symmetry for negative source wiring 9. Fur ther, in a set of each pixels 1 adjacent in the direction along the negative source wiring 9, each drive circuit 4 is formed so that a part of each drive circuit 4 overlaps the adjacent pixel. Then, in such a case, each drive circuit 4 is formed so that nearly a half of a formed position of a Pch transistor 7b in the drive circuit 4 overlaps on the adjacent pixel 1.
