Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting that meets the attributes of an image display device to be performed for multiple kinds of image signals on the host side, in an image display device compatible with DDC, and also to promote low cost and miniaturization.
SOLUTION: In the image display device compatible with DDC, there are provided one DDC compatible nonvolatile memory 11 and a control means 13 that writes, in the DDC compatible nonvolatile memory 11, EDID data for inputting image signals among the EDID data for multiple kinds of image signals, on the basis of information indicating kinds of image signals to be inputted.
