Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display method and device allowing a user to easily understand the positional relation (relation of angle) of multiple display objects, to instantaneously recognize them as the circumferential image, and to easily recognize the place of the display image.
SOLUTION: The coordinates of image data of a panorama picture taken of the whole circumferential range are converted to obtain image data for display. A circumferential picture is displayed in a region sandwiched between two large and small ellipses having different center positions using the obtained image data and pre-stored map image data, and map images are displayed in the inner region of the small ellipse and the outer region of the large ellipse matching to the positional relation with the circumferential picture. The circumferential picture is rotated along with the map images.
