Abstract:
To provide an image display which is higher in reliability reducing discharge caused by existence of foreign material particles in a display panel, in the image display which displays an image by irradiating an electron beam emitted from an electron emission element to an image forming member in the display panel of which the inside is kept vacuum.
A low electric field region 15 of 5% or less in average field strength is formed by forming a recessed portion inside the image forming member 16, and then the foreign material particles are stuck to the region 15.
