An information communication server includes: a packetization processing section 111 for generating an image data packet; an error correction processing section 115 for generating a forward error correction (FEC) packet for each aggregation of the predetermined number of image data packets; and a header processing section 112 for transmitting the image data packet and the FEC packet. The error correction processing section 115 generates the FEC packet corresponding to multiple different methods. The header processing section 112 starts the transmission of the image data packet and the generated FEC packet whenever the FEC packet is generated concerning all the different FEC restoration methods for each aggregation of the image data packets, and transmits only the FEC packet related to an FEC restoration method which is designated by a reproduction device among the generated FEC packets.
