PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record data of images and the like of tissue itself such as cells in such a manner that the data is associated with data of images related to the tissue such as the cells, treatment, and collection, to thereby enable a plurality of institutions, facilities, etc. to easily reference the information of the tissue such as the cells.SOLUTION: An image file creation method includes: an image capturing step of capturing an image of a living body; a treatment detection step of detecting a treatment related to the living body; and an image file creation step of creating an image file of the image data acquired in the image capturing step according to a result of detection in the treatment detection step, the image file being added with information indicating that the image concerns the specimen collection by a treatment related to the living body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
