After the end of transfer of the image file Gf from the digital camera A to the personal computer 50, the personal computer 50 generates recording unit information 47 newer than the recording unit information 47 of the acquired image file Gf and transmits the new recording unit information 47 to the digital camera A to use it as a reference to be recorded in the header part 45 of an image file Gf to be newly photographed by the digital camera A.
