Abstract:
To prevent low-temperature offset caused by the temperature fall of the surface of a heating roller immediately after starting rotation from a standby state in an image fixing device.
This device is provided with the heating roller 11 having a heating source 12 inside and an endless belt 15 laid over plural rollers 13 and 14 and press-contacting with the roller 11; and the thickness (t) of the belt 15 consisting of a heat-resistant elastic member is set to 0.5 mm≤t≤2.0 mm, and entire peripheral length L to the diameter of the roller 11 is set to 0.5 π≤L≤1.5 π.
