Abstract:

To provide an image formation apparatus which enables a user to efficiently print a document while maintaining a secure printing environment.

The image formation apparatus is connected to a terminal apparatus via a network. The image formation apparatus comprises a receiving means which receives job data transmitted from the terminal unit, a paper discharge tray equipped with a locking function which houses the results of printing based on the job data received by the receiving means, a determination means which determines whether the paper discharge tray equipped with the locking function is in use or not, and a message processing means. When the paper discharge tray equipped with the locking function is determined to be in use by the determination means, the message processing means transmits a predetermined message to the terminal apparatus which transmitted the job data to the paper discharge tray equipped with the locking function which is in use.
