Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which can display a result of detection of a defect in a recording operation on a recording medium more easily and in a short time, and a control method of the image formation apparatus.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: recording means which performs a recording operation for giving color materials to a recording medium; recording control means which controls the recording operation by the recording means; image reading means which reads an image formed by the recording means on the recording medium; recording operation defect detection means which causes the image reading means to read a test image for detecting a defect in the recording operation formed by the recording means on the basis of the control by the recording control means and detects the defect in the recording operation on the basis of a result of reading of the test image by the image reading means; display processing means which displays a result of detection by the recording operation defect detection means on the recording medium; and display processing control means which causes the display processing means to perform display according to the result of detection on the recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
