Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damage in taking-out of a recording medium from a recording medium discharge unit provided in a body.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus 1 includes a sheet discharge unit 3 to which a printed sheet P is discharged from a sheet discharge conveyance unit 6 in the body. The sheet discharge unit 3 is formed with a discharge direction opening part 11 and a front side opening part 12. A support member 13 is formed at a corner part where the two openings 11, 12 intersect with each other. Stop members 14, 15 moving to the stop position for stopping the discharged sheet P and the open position for opening the discharge direction opening part 11 are provided on the surface opposite to the sheet discharge direction of the support member 13 and the corresponding surface facing the sheet discharge unit 3 of the body. The image formation apparatus 1 places the sheet P discharged to the sheet discharge unit 3 at a proper position of the sheet discharge unit 3 by moving the stop member 14 to the stop position prior to printing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
