Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a record scan range of a recording head in a main scan direction efficiently and shorten a print time.
SOLUTION: This information process apparatus connected to a printer having a recording head comprising a plurality of heads of a predetermined height transfers recording data within a band subjected to an image development to the printer by every predetermined height. At this time, processes in S12-S14 are carried out, whereby values of a most left end and a most right end of a recording area are obtained for the latest recording data of all heights of the recording head. The values of the most left end and the most right end obtained in the processes S12-S14 are informed to the printer in S15. The recording data of the predetermined height are transferred in S17. The printer determines a scan range of the recording head based on the informed values of the most left end and the most right end and records the input recording data.
