Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of forming a high quality image on a recording sheet while suppressing floating by maintaining the flatness of the recording sheet.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: a platen 4 in which recessed portions 10-1, 10-2 partitioned by partition parts 12-1, 12-2 are formed on the upper surface; recording heads 6-1, 6-2 which discharge ink to a recording sheet P on the platen; and a carriage 7 which mounts each recording head. The partition part 12-2 partitioning the recessed portion 10-2 located on the lower side of an upstream side printing region 13-2 being a main scan direction movement range of the recording head 6-2 is formed so that the upper surface position becomes level with a recording sheet passage surface. The partition part 12-1 partitioning the recessed portion 10-1 located on the lower side of a downstream side printing region 13-1 being the main scan direction movement range of the recording head 6-1 is formed so that the upper surface position becomes lower than the recording sheet passage surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
