Abstract:
To provide an image formation apparatus which facilitates confirmation on whether a continuous recording medium is attached to the correct position in comparison to a case where the whole of the marks for detecting whether or not the continuous recording medium is attached to the correct position is output even when the continuous recording medium is attached to the incorrect position.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus 10 includes: an input device 520 which receives the width of a continuous sheet P; an image formation unit 120 which forms a mark 600 for determining whether or not the continuous sheet P is attached to the correct position on a continuous recording medium; and a control circuit 810 which prescribes the position at which the image formation unit 120 forms the mark 600 for each width of the continuous sheet P. The control circuit 810 prescribes the position of the mark 600 so that the entire part of the mark 600 is formed on the surface of the continuous sheet P when the continuous sheet P is attached to the correct position, and so that at least a portion of the mark 600 is not formed on the surface of the continuous sheet P when the continuous sheet P is attached to the incorrect position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
