Abstract:
To provide an image formation apparatus which can execute energy saving control based on a use action of an individual user.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus 15 shared by a plurality of users via a network comprises: an acquisition unit 61; a decision unit 62; a calculation unit 63; and an operation control unit 64. The acquisition unit 61 acquires user identification information for identifying an individual user, first information indicating the presence situation of the individual user and second information indicating the connection state of the individual user to the network. The decision unit 62 decides the weight of the attribute of the individual user according to the combination of the first information and second information. The calculation unit 63 calculates the total value of the weights of the attributes of the individual users for the plurality of users. The operation control unit 64 performs control so as to shift to an energy saving mode in which power consumption is reduced in comparison to a normal mode when the total value is less than a prescribed threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
