Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device in which the amount of spoiled paper can be reduced even if a position of a continuous recording material vibrates along a width direction at the start of transportation.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes an image formation part which forms an image on a continuous recording material, a position sensor which measures a position, in a width direction orthogonal to the transportation direction of the continuous recording material that is transported to the image formation part, and a control part which controls start time of imaging at the image formation part based on position measurement data representing a position in the width direction of the continuous recording material that is measured with the position sensor and image data imaged on the continuous recording material by the image formation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
