Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device for preventing discharge caused by outside of an image area in image displaying and for obtaining good display screen.
SOLUTION: This image forming device includes a vacuum container formed by opposed a rear plate 1 in which an electron discharge element is wired in matrix shape by a plurality of row direction wirings and a plurality of column direction wirings and a faceplate 11 which is formed with a phosphor for emitting light by irradiation of electron beam from the electron discharge element. A low resistance conductor 5 is formed at outer surface of the vacuum container of the faceplate 11 to surround the image display area 12 and a periphery of a high voltage-contacting portion 7.
