Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that reduce power consumption by properly controlling a power supply to a conveyance drive system of an image formation device.SOLUTION: An image formation device forming an image on a recording medium in accordance with image data comprises: an image formation unit that has a drum, forms an electrostatic latent image on the drum on the basis of the image data to thereby develop toner, and thereafter transfers the toner to the recording medium; a fixation unit that has a pair of rollers having a heating source, and a drive unit driving the pair of rollers, and fixes the toner transferred to the recording medium due to heat by the pair of rollers; a measurement sensor that measures a temperature and humidity inside the image formation device; a time measurement unit that measures a use time of the image formation device; a drive circuit that supplies power to the drive unit; and a drive control unit that controls the power to be supplied to the drive circuit on the basis of the measured use time, temperature and humidity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
