Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device, a paper post-processing device and a control method that allow a plurality of binding means to be constantly used either online or offline and allow operability to be improved when performing stapling processing.SOLUTION: The paper post-processing device comprises a stapler 51 with needles, a stapler 52 without needles and a CPU 162. The CPU 162, when post-processing information included in JOB information shows stapling processing, moves the stapler 52 without needles to a manual position M and moves the stapler 51 with needles to a position X1 as a stand-by position for a JOB, and when the post-processing information included in the JOB information shows the needle-less binding processing, moves the stapler 51 with needles to the manual position M and moves the stapler 52 without needles to the position X1 as the stand-by position for the JOB.
