Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which enables improvement of the accuracy for determining the presence/absence of a sheet with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An image formation device 1 includes: a medium sensor 10; a timing sensor 20; and an adjustment part 31. The medium sensor 10 detects characteristics of a sheet T. The timing sensor 20 detects presence/absence of the sheet T. The adjustment part 31 adjusts detection criteria of the sheet T on the basis of the characteristics of the sheet T. The medium sensor 10 includes a first light emitting part 11 and a first light receiving part 12. The first light emitting part 11 emits light to the sheet T. The first light receiving part 12 receives reflection light from the sheet T. The timing sensor 20 includes a second light emitting part 21 and a second light receiving part 22. The second light emitting part 21 emits light to the sheet T. The second light receiving part 22 receives reflection light from the sheet T.
