To stabilize sucking of a recording material performed when the recording material is fed.
In addition to a first plate 601 to a fourth plate 604, a fifth plate 605 and sixth plate 606 which divide a space into two or more spaces are provided. If the fifth plate 605 and the sixth plate 606 are not provided and a sheet which has a smaller width than a separation distance between the first plate 601 and the second plate 602 is stored in a sheet feeder, a gap is formed between the sheet and the first plate 601, and also between the sheet and the second plate 602. In that case, sucking a sheet by a box body 580 becomes difficult due to air which passes through the gap. If the fifth plate 605 and the sixth plate 606 is provided, the gap described above becomes hard to form and sucking a sheet is more surely performed.
