Abstract:
To enable easy access to a cutter mechanism to resolve a trouble, such as a jam, occurring in an image formation device.SOLUTION: A printer 100 of an embodiment includes a head 5, a cutter mechanism 4, a first cover 7 forming a guide path 7a, which restricts paper P from both surfaces, as a part of a transportation path, and a second cover 8. The second cover 8 may be in an open position, in which the second cover 8 enables access to the cutter mechanism 4, and a closed position, in which the second cover 8 makes the cutter mechanism 4 inaccessible, and does not interfere with the paper P when the second cover 8 moves from the closed position to the open position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
