Abstract:
To suppress jammed paper objects that can be easily collected when jam occurs from being restricted by a positional relation with respect to a location where the jam occurs.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: a printing part 310 for executing printing processing on paper conveyed on a conveyance path; paper ejection parts 340, 360 for ejecting printed paper; a paper removal part SR for ejecting unprinted paper; detection means 373, 374 for detecting paper conveyed on the conveyance path; and a discrimination part 115 for discriminating between paper that has passed through the printing part 310 and paper that has not passed therethrough based on detection results of the detection means 373, 374. When paper jam occurs, based on a position specified by paper jam location identifying means 115, the jammed paper at the paper jam location and the paper that has been determined not to have passed through the printing part 310 and has been classified as unfinished printing is ejected by the paper removal part SR, and the paper that has been determined to have passed the printing part 310 and has been classified as printed is ejected by the paper ejection parts 340, 360.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
