Abstract:
To suppresses carrier adhesion during the time from a developing roller rotation starts a rotary driving to the developing roller rotation speed reaches a speed of image formation, while suppressing decrease in toner supply to a photosensitive drum at the time of image formation.SOLUTION: An image formation device has: a first peak-to-peak value, which is a difference between maximum voltage and minimum voltage (Vpp) of AC voltage of the developing bias during the time from a rotational drive of a developer carrier starts rotary driving by driving means until the rotation speed of the developer carrier reaches a speed of image formation; and a second peak-to-peak value which is a difference between maximum voltage and minimum voltage (Vpp) of the AC voltage of the developing bias at the time of image formation.
