Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect feeding of overlapped paper sheets from an image formation device and feeding of overlapped insert papers from an inserter by a simple and inexpensive configuration.
SOLUTION: This image formation device has a finisher 500 for discharging paper from the image formation device 10 and insert paper from a tray 901 into a stack tray 700 and a paper thickness detection sensor 909 for detecting thickness of the paper conveyed from the image formation device 10 and the insert paper fed from the inserter 900 provided on a common finisher path 552 in which the paper and the insert paper are conveyed.
